Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and RunPGJO("RunPGJO", "we", "us") governing your use of the RunPGJO mobile application and related services (the "App"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

• RunPGJO offers optional premium subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal, through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
• Prices may change; we'll notify you before changes affect an active subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds for purchases made through their stores.

5. Crowns & Virtual Items

Crowns and other in-app currencies or items are virtual items with no real-world monetary value. They are a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use within the App. They cannot be sold, exchanged for cash, or transferred outside the App, and they may be modified or discontinued at our discretion. Unused Crowns are forfeited if your account is deleted or terminated.

6. Monthly Leaderboard & Prizes

RunPGJO runs a monthly leaderboard competition (each a "Competition"). Here's how it works:

• How you rank: you earn EXP by completing quests and Open World activities in the App. Your EXP places you on the monthly leaderboard, which is visible to other players.
• Monthly cycle: each Competition runs for one calendar month. At the end of the month, the leaderboard is reset to zeroand a new Competition begins with a new prize. EXP earned in a previous month does not carry over to the next month's leaderboard.
• Winning: the player ranked #1on the leaderboard when the monthly Competition ends wins that month's prize. The prize for each month is announced in the App and may change from month to month.
• Prize delivery: prizes are physical items, delivered either by in-person handover or by courier/delivery to the winner, at our discretion. Delivery is available within Jordan; if we offer delivery elsewhere, it will be stated in the Competition rules.
• Eligibility: Competitions may be limited by region (e.g., Jordan), age, or other criteria stated in the App. Employees, founders, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win.
• Fair play: winners are determined by legitimate, GPS-verified activity only. We may audit run and EXP data before awarding any prize, and we may withhold a prize while an audit is ongoing.
• Verification:the winner must provide identity and delivery information within 14 days of being contacted, or the prize is forfeited and may be awarded to the next eligible player on that month's leaderboard.
• Disqualification: any cheating (see Section 7), multiple accounts, or violation of these Terms disqualifies you from Competitions and prizes, retroactively if necessary — including after a prize has been announced.
• Ties and disputes: in the event of a tie or dispute, our decision on the winner is final.
• Prizes are non-transferable and have no cash alternative unless we state otherwise. We are responsible only for delivering the stated prize; any taxes or duties are the winner's responsibility. Void where prohibited by law.

7. Fair Play & Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Falsify activity data in any way, including GPS spoofing, location mocking, emulators, modified clients, bots, or recording runs in vehicles;
• Exploit bugs, manipulate leaderboards, or interfere with other players' experience;
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users, or post offensive content in usernames, avatars, or any user content;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or trespass on private property while playing.

We may remove content, reset progress, revoke Crowns or prizes, and suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate this section.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., username, avatar, shared runs). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content to operate and promote the App (e.g., showing your username on leaderboards). You confirm your content doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.

9. Intellectual Property

The App — including its name, logo, design, artwork, code, quests, and game systems — is owned by RunPGJO or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

10. Privacy

Our collection and use of your data — including precise location data during runs — is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 8, 9, 12, and 13) will survive.

12. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of GPS or activity data, or uninterrupted availability. GPS tracking depends on your device and environment and may be inaccurate.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunPGJO and its founders, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for personal injury, property damage, or loss of data arising from your use of the App — including injuries sustained while running. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) 50 JOD.

14. Changes to the App or Terms

We may modify, add, or remove features (including quests, Crowns, ranks, and Competitions) at any time. We may update these Terms; if changes are material, we'll notify you in the App before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amman, Jordan, unless applicable consumer law in your country of residence gives you additional rights.
